Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Senior Director of IT, the IT Manager is someone who performs and oversees a variety of Information Technology duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. Duties include managing JHTNA IT operations and help desk, systems implementation and network administration including maintenance and troubleshooting amongst our 100+ locations. This is a supervisory position.


Operations Management:

  • Manage daily operations of the IT department
  • Assist with IT needs either directly, or through future additional positions
  • Plan, coordinate and supervise all IT related tasks or activities for the team
  • Maintain data center operations to achieve 100% uptime
  • Develop, maintain and troubleshoot the operations of the organizations network system
  • Develop, maintain and manage the overall security of the IT infrastructure
  • Ensure that software and systems meet overall company goals
  • Manage IT Help Desk


  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network and other systems problems

Develop Processes:

  • Analyze operations data and institute procedure
  • Recommend the purchasing and installing of hardware, software and telecommunications equipment to management
  • Research and stay abreast of new techniques and technologies
  • Accountable for achieving the departments targets and KPIs


  • Supervisory responsibilities for the overall IT operations team
  • May be responsible for staffing, terminations, disciplinary actions, training and developing subordinates
  • May be responsible for completing adequate performance documentation on time

Maintain Work Practices:

  • Tasks associated with maintaining compliance with 5S standards for common areas: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain
  • Assure effective computer resources are provided to all users

Marginal Job Functions:

  • Other projects as needed



  • 4 year degree or certificate in computer science or a related field required
  • Additional training in information systems or combination of education and experience preferred


  • 5+ years experience with Windows Servers, Exchange server, Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, Azure and PC hardware required
  • 3+ years experience with VMWare, SAN Technology and Phone Systems
  • 3+ years experience working with advanced networks and or networking concepts. Familiarity with Cisco and Meraki an plus
  • Experience with wireless network, network security, mobile devices and telecom.
  • Experience managing multiple locations within an organization a plus

Other Requirements:

  • Travel will be required. Up to 25%

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risks including; dust, heat, cleaning chemicals, cold and electrical shock. The noise level is usually moderate. The employee occasionally may perform work-related travel.
