Job Description:
Position Summary
Theposition has the primary responsibility of providing logistics for route operations. This position ensures accountability and the security of all liability and prioritizes daily operations workflow. The individual assists Route Logistics and Branch Leadership in the secure, safe, and efficient functioning of the branch.
This position functions in an armed environment. This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Abram Armored and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Abram Armored.
As a leader in the company, this individual provides direction to both reporting and non-reporting associates to ensure that the organizational vision, mission, values and goals are achieved.
This position key responsibilities include
- Driving a minimum of 5 days per week, in accordance with a designated route, making stops at customer locations
- Servicing ATM’s on a set schedule, including re-supplying, retrieving deposits, and monetarily balancing the machine
- Ensure the safe, accurate and secure collection and delivery of liability
- Guard the Route Lead during the actual delivery and pick up
- Always maintain the safety and control of the armored vehicle
- Remain alert and always be prepared
- Counting items, recording amounts and serial amounts, signing and dating receipts / manifests and sorting individual cargo items by route
- Maintains communication with dispatch personnel, report delays, customer service issues, incidents and unusual circumstances and other important information in a timely manner
- Maintain the vehicle, equipment and the facility in clean and operational condition
- Other duties as assigned
Language skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common industry and supporting technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or customers. Ability to effectively present information to leadership, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to manage your time efficiently, do mental math quickly, interpret and analyze data, effectively research information and requires attention to the small details.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Must have the ability to operate PC and printer, copy and fax machines, calculator, and telephone. Must have good working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
Key Contacts–Internal and External:
Has frequent contact with all department/division leaders and associates to resolve issues relating to customer service, security, purchasing, financial reporting, etc.
Has moderate contact with sales representatives for supplies, equipment and building maintenance and repairs. Has moderate contact with external auditors.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations: Valid driver’s license, GA DOT health card, State of GA Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies License.

Full-time schedule possibly consisting of an average of 40 hours/week. Full-time work at a minimum of 5 days anytime during a 7-day period. Approximately 90-95 percent of work performed in vehicle within individual compartments (front and rear). CDL Class A / CDL Class B not required but is a plus
Comments:
Position requires the ability to work before or after normal business hours to meet deadlines and attend various employee meetings and training sessions. Position may require occasional overnight travel to attend training conferences, onboard employees and/or monitor satellite branches.

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
