Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager, the Commercial Marketing Manager is someone who successfully develops and implements marketing programs to support our commercial fitness brand in the diverse global environments and channels we serve. The successful candidate will be creative with a strong background in project management, with proven leadership working with cross functional teams and creating and implementing successful marketing programs.


Support all elements of our comprehensive global commercial marketing program with the following specific areas of focus:

Product marketing

  • Work with product development teams to create and execute comprehensive launches for select commercial product lines based on deep understanding of market and customer needs
  • Identify opportunities to develop new assets, refine/refresh messaging and launch new campaigns that drive business growth for existing products
  • Develop and deploy communications campaigns designed for in-facility execution with a B2C focus that commercial customers can use to promote new Matrix products or programs directly to their clients

Group education & programming management

  • Working with key stakeholders, champion marketing programs to drive global sales of the organizations group education program offerings and their respective hard goods. Recommend annual plan and budget. Own all elements of programming marketing launches, including research and competitive analysis; conception and execution of marketing programs; sales training; digital content creation (both B2B and B2C) and ongoing program maintenance
  • Manage app content (including global versioning) that supports program sales and execution
  • Work with subject matter experts to ensure program content is properly maintained
  • Determine program translation needs and manage execution
  • Oversee global distribution of program content (manuals)
  • Guide creation of appropriate internal sales training materials and implementation guides to facilitate sales
  • Assist in management of global master trainer network; help plan and execute training events; and create and execute strategy to leverage and/or activate master trainers
  • Work with sales offices to secure customer references and testimonials

Sales and channel support

  • Work proactively with global key account team to identify marketing opportunities and support identified initiatives
  • Support companys strategic priorities and global key account sales team by creating promotional campaigns and tools to reach identified sub-segments of the commercial market


  • All other projects as needed




  • Minimum of four-year degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing or other related field related


  • A minimum of 5+ years executing marketing strategies and programs that achieve results, with preference given to those candidates with B2B product marketing experience
  • A minimum of 2+ years in developing strategies and plans based on customer feedback and market insights
  • Experience in leading creation of marketing assets, including: video, photography, training materials, digital and print content, etc.
  • Proven experience leading cross functional teams (e.g. product, creative, digital development) to achieve desired results
  • Experience working across multiple geographies and/or cultures preferred

  • Occasional travel may be required, both domestic (1-2 times per year) and international (1-3 times per year)

  • Flexibility and willingness to work in situations of flux and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills in all Microsoft Office programs, including PowerPoint
