The University of Pittsburgh Financial Record Services department is recruiting for a Data Entry Specialist.
The position’s primary duties will be to perform data entry functions relating to opening new accounts, supporting record retention for the University’s Financial Record Retention Schedule, processing journals received by various departments, processing Salary Wage Cost Transfers, providing departments with requested document copies following a strict time frame, and verifying payment batches for content and accuracy.
The position also assists at the Panther Express front desk as needed. The position’s secondary duties will be to back up the PantherExpress Customer Service team by sending out notifications to vendors, performing vendor payment status requests, and any other tasks deemed related by the PantherExpress Customer Service Manager.

Data entry experience a plus. Associate’s degree or higher a plus. Working in a professional setting (business office) a plus.
