Position Overview:

Under the direction of the President of the US Retail Division, the Director of Operations directs, develops and administers operations strategies to ensure the achievement of the organizations goals and objectives in accordance with company policies and procedures throughout out our US retail division. Duties include developing organizational policies, practices and the attainment of operating goals while maintaining management responsibility. This position includes supervisory responsibilities and will manage teams in U.S.





Primary Duties:

  • Assesses and assists in upgrading the management talent base within operations to achieve growth and meet market needs.
  • Coordinates support to operations areas through interdepartmental communication to deliver cost-efficient products or service.
  • Manages and assists in coordinating efforts between support departments within the organization.
  • Contributes to the overall short- and long-range planning process and the establishment and assessment of the organization’s annual operating budget.
  • Plans, prepares, controls, monitors, and forecasts organization’s direct and/or indirect budgets.
  • Directs the capital expenditure and asset redeployment activities.
  • Ensures attainment of efficient and economical performance in relation to profit and year-end goals.
  • Participates in the investigation and implementation of new services, distribution processes, and product or systems technologies to meet the organization’s objectives.
  • Establishes, implements, revises, and maintains policies and procedures related to operations.
  • Oversees compliance of established policies.


  • Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, controlling and executing operational objectives.


  • Responsible for staffing, terminations, disciplinary actions, training, and developing subordinates
  • Responsible for completing adequate performance documentation on time.

Marginal Job Functions:

  • Other projects as needed.





  • Bachelors degree required


  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management required
  • Experience in a retail distribution, delivery and service environments preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, ERP, SAP, Data mining/reporting tools required
  • Travel to Retail facilities throughout US.
