Job Description:

Purpose:

To perform various duties in the day-to-day operation of the Credit Union’s computer software and hardware in accordance with the Credit Union’s policies and procedures.  Work is subject to review and/or audit on a no-notice basis by Management, Supervisory Committee, Auditors, and/or Federal Examiners.

Electronic Services Processor: Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 5:00PM

Salary: $18.00 – $22.00

1. Responsibilities:

Primary

Process and post ACH (Automated Clearing House) transactions including member direct deposits and electronic payments.

Retrieve check files from the Federal Reserve and post to member accounts.

Submit files to the Federal Reserve.

Review and release Mobile Check Deposits submitted by members and monitor for fraudulent deposits.

Assist in identifying and resolving exceptions and discrepancies in job-specific General Ledgers.

Provide exceptional member service by assisting Member Service Representatives and Telephone Answer Center Representatives in researching and resolving member questions.

Support employees as needed (e.g., copies of old statements, copies of old drafts, etc.)

Notice/Coupon printing.

Provide back-up support to the Visa Clerk position.

Maintain proficient knowledge of Credit Union products and services.

All other duties as assigned/requested by Management.

Secondary

Assist Accounting Department with balancing GLs.

Reports To: This position reports directly to the Risk Management Supervisor

Qualifications:

Must be a strong analytical thinker.

High School diploma (or equivalent).

Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work with others as a team member.

Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimum supervision.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to branch locations, as necessary.

Will be subject to off-shift hours, as necessary.
