JOB TITLE: Joint Threat Warning System Engineer


This position shall apply science and engineering knowledge in support of Joint Threat Warning Systems.


This position shall apply science and engineering knowledge in support of the following activities:

  • Requirements Analysis and Definition
  • Configuration Management
  • Risk Identification and COA development
  • Technology Discovery and Evaluation
  • Technical input to vendor product development (system definition, design, integration, test and evaluation)
  • Assist in the development of Statements of Work/Statement of Objectives (SOW/SOO)
  • Participation in program milestone events such as PDR, CDR, and TRRs
  • Creation and Review of technical briefings, test plans, and test reports
  • Evaluating systems performance to include participation in laboratory and field testing
  • Ability to travel (20-40%)


Security Clearance: Secret

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • BS/BA in one of the following disciplines: Electrical/Electronic Engineering, RF Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, General Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience encompassing a majority of the following topics.
    • One year experience in RF circuit design principles and techniques
    • One year experience in Digital and analog radios systems
    • One year experience in Antenna design and analysis
    • One year experience in Software Defined Radios (SDR) design and implementation
    • One year experience in Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) communications systems
    • One year experience in Commercial and military SATCOM systems
    • One year experience in SIGINT systems
    • One year experience in Test equipment including multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and oscilloscopes
    • One year experience in Numerical/statistical analysis using MATLAB software or equivalent
    • One year experience in Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) and Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E) techniques and processes.


  • Past experience supporting PEO-SRSE
