Job Summary: Cole Engineering Services is a leading provider of engineering solutions for the defense industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fielding Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and deployment of a new simulation and training capability for the United States Army. As the Fielding Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-site fielding activities. This includes developing and maintaining all fielding associated documentation, identify and resolve site related fielding issues, and oversee logistical and on-site training activities. Additionally, the Fielding Lead will work closely with CESI program management, the customer, other stakeholders, and be the primary point of contact for coordination of all aspects of the fielding events to ensure the successful deployment of the new training capability.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead a team consisting of field service representatives, test engineers and logisticians in conducting on-site fielding activities.
• Analyze fielding data results and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing event findings and recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during fielding.
• Work with engineers to develop solutions to address identified issues.
• Maintain clear, concise organized documentation of all fielding activities.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Coordinate with personnel on all program teams.
• Assist in creation and maintenance of program documentation.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• 40% -50% Travel Required

Knowledge in any of the following areas would be considered a plus:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering or a related field, with 2-5 years of experience in fielding of military equipment and cross team coordination
• Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with military standards such as MIL-STD-40051-2, RPSTL, CDRLs, DIDs, and MIL-HDBK is a plus
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence) is a plus
• Direct experience in fielding, logistics or technical deployment of military systems is a plus
