Job Description:
Job Summary: Cole Engineering Services is seeking a highly motivated candidate to support Product Support development activities for an emerging simulation and training capability for the United States Army. The candidate will support Product Support lifecycle hardware and electronics development activities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Contributes to the development of organizational goals and procedures.
- Supports technical documentation compiling, writing, editing, and or coordination as required. Provides guidance and direction in the areas of quality, coverage, format, and style.
- Is able to work with limited supervision and is able to resolve complex problems with limited or no assistance.
- Work with Logistics Software Databases conducting Inventory and onsite documentation verification.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- 75% -100% Travel Required
Knowledge in any of the following areas would be considered a plus:
- Experience with Military Industry MIL-STD-40051-2 Technical Manual development, Repair Parts Special Tools List (RPSTL) and development tools and documentation. Experience working with Military CDRLs, DIDs and MIL-HDBK standards.
- Experience with the following software/hardware development, collaboration tools, and process. (JIRA, Confluence, Agile/Scrum)
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline, Bachelor’s in Engineering Technology or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of engineering experience
- MS Office proficient
Other Requirements:
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government’s Task Order.
