We are seeking a Maintenance worker for Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood, WA. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of the cemetery and parking lots as well as general landscaping duties. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and previous experience in a general labor.
As a Maintenance team member, you’ll be responsible for maintaining parking lots at our Funeral Home and Chapels, as well as maintaining flower beds in our Cemetery. You’ll be responsible for gathering and removing trash in the Cemetery and removing expired flowers from cemetery spaces. Additional responsibilities will include notifying management of unsafe conditions or conditions in need of repair, reviewing the service schedule daily, and other duties as directed by management.
- High school or equivalent education preferred
- 6+ months experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
- Pay: $16-$18/hour
