Job Description:

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking Major Gift Officers to join a progressive team within the University’s Office of Institutional Advancement.

Major Gift Officers are expected to raise at the $100,000 + level as well as build a diverse and sustainable portfolio of fundraising prospects. In order to effectively manage critical relationships with prospective donors to meet both short-term and long-term fundraising objectives for the University, Major Gift Officers must consistently initiate contacts with potential major gift donors, develop and execute strategies to cultivate and maintain relationships, and participate in the gift agreements as necessary. MGOs at this level should have a proven ability to solicit individual major gifts. Travel will be required.
