Responsibilities:

Responsible for the creation and revision of accurate and detailed specifications and technical packages to assure customer performance needs and expectations are met

Support continuous improvement initiatives of varying scope and complexities

Perform failure analysis and implement internal and external corrective actions

Create detailed test plans and reports to support data driven decision making

Provide technical assistance inhouse and externally to customers and repair stations

Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies that govern products

Maintain technical publications required for inspection, testing and repair

Perform in house and external maintenance training for Switlik survival products

Write and coordinate efforts for the development and implementation of quality procedures

Requirements:

Experience in a product design or industrial design environment

Proven problem solving and trouble shooting skills are required

A passion and enthusiasm for innovation will be an asset

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels of organization

Must be able to develop detailed specification and prepare technical packages

Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, Project)

Knowledge of construction methods, including adhesive bonding and heat sealing is a plus

Experience in inflatable products, apparel or textile products is desired but not required

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Mechanical/Technical training with 3+ years’ experience

Commensurate with experience
