This candidate will be responsible for the financial aspects of multiple contracts/task orders including: • Monitoring and tracking program expenditures, preparing and assist with budgets and forecasts, preparing estimates to complete, initiating funding requests, preparing standard monthly cost status reports and contract deliverables, validating invoices from subcontractors, preparing and reviewing invoices, preparing travel authorizations, auditing expense reports, resolving issues,and maintaining current work authorizations. • Will interface with Task/Program Manager to track and provide task order status. • Will provide backup support to accounting, IT, or contracts department.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Requires a BS in business administration, contracts, or accounting and 2 years of related experience. • Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint preferred. • Knowledge of the overall Government contracting cycle and funding process. • Familiarity with DCAA, FAR, DFAR, and GSA Federal Supply Schedules. • Must be a team player, able to multi-task, and maintain a high level of work accuracy. • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent math aptitude, and advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills. • Must demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and ability to work with minimal supervision. • Must be detail oriented, be able to and set priorities.
