Position Overview
The International Coach Federation (ICF) is seeking a Project Manager, ICF Credentials & Standards, who will oversee and manage the planning, development, implementation and launch of new products and services of ICF Credentials and Standards, including specialty credentials for professional coaches and virtual training offerings. This role will be an essential element in achieving the strategic visions of ICF Credentials and Standards to ensure sustainable growth for the ICF Credentialing program and expanded opportunities for professional coaches to demonstrate high professional and ethical standards in coaching practice. Candidates for this position should have at minimum a Bachelor’s degree and experience in project management and/or product development. The ideal candidate has experience in association management, and professional certification, along with an understanding and/or desire to learn about the Coaching profession. Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving and strategic skills are essential, along with an ability to partner with volunteers, professional staff, and vendors to realize common goals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Create project scopes, objectives, timelines, key milestones, and budget for the development of new Credentialing products and services
  • Perform research to determine appropriate processes for product development, as well as marketability
  • Oversee the development of credentialing products (specialty credentials), online training courses, and other new products ensure high quality, while meeting maintaining time and budgetary requirements
  • Coordinate internal staff resources and/or vendors for the execution of projects
  • Coordinate with IT team to integrate new products into internal databases and vendor platforms
  • Ensure all tasks and every phase of a project proceeds on schedule
  • Makes appropriate adjustments to project development plans as needed and in coordination with the VP Credentials and Standards
  • Maintain regular, professional communication with partners, vendors and other key stakeholders involved in the development of a new product or service
  • Prepare costs analysis on the development of a new product
  • Coordinate with ICF Marketing and Communications team to design communications, educational materials and marketing campaigns for new product launch
  • Provide regular reporting on product development activities to the VP ICF Credentials and Standards and the ICF Credentials and Standards Board of Directors
  • Ensure a high level of quality, rigor and integrity to the development, implementation and launch of any new product or service
  • Other duties as assigned by the VP ICF Credentials and Standards
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-3 years of project management or product development experience desired
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication
  • Proven pro-active, self-directed, results-orientated approach with the demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals
  • Demonstrated record of working with others to develop, evaluate, and execute complex projects and change initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving skills predicated on solid information gathering and analytical thinking
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders in complex projects
  • Skilled in the use of a variety of technology tools
  • Experience working with staff & volunteers in an international context desired
