Job Description:

Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

Inspection/Product Verification:

Assist in the inspection and verification of finished goods and parts (test criteria shall follow inspection forms)

Identify and escalate serious quality issues that require management intervention and resolution

Assist with software inspection/validation as needed

Test all incoming electronics field failures from dealers and consumers within 48 hours of

arrival according to test procedures to verify conformity

Maintain testing stations within lab environment for the testing of all part returns

Needs to be aware of high currents and voltages

Assist as needed with the inspection and evaluation of returned goods (field failures) from

consumers or dealers.

Control / calibration of monitoring and measuring devices

Understanding of traceability

5S Conformity:

Maintain organization in workplace

Lead by example

Safety:

Follow all safety policies

Recommend changes to ensure safe and productive workplace

Marginal Job Functions:

Other projects as needed

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma required

Associate degree or equivalent in work experience preferred

Additional training and/or certifications in quality systems preferred

Experience:

Technical and/or mechanical background required

Past experience in an inspection or repair service role preferred

Consumer products experience is a plus preferred

Other Requirements:

Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point required

Statistical software, CAR/PAR software preferred

SAP experience preferred

Travel may be required to offsite facility

Internal/external forklift certification

Familiarity with measuring instruments. Examples include: VOM calipers, tension gauges, etc.

Valid drivers license is required
