Texas Health Fort Worth has a full-time RN opportunity in their Hemodialysis Department. We’re looking for a high performing Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of clinical RN experience in acute care setting with experience with inpatient hemodialysis.

Practices within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act

Serves as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs.
  • RNs hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.
  • One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program, or acceptance into a THR residency program.
  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS training.

A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

BSN preferred

1+ years of RN experience preferred

1 + years experience in Hemodialysis or critical care nursing preferred

Basic Computer skills preferred

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:

  • 8 bed unit with Inpatient Hemodialysis patients – chronically ill
