Our brand new Neuro Interventional unit is searching for a Registered Nurse on a full time basis. If you have procedural experience and looking to join a Magnet facility, look no further. The ability to function in a fast-paced environment is essential

REQUIRED EDUCATION

*ADN, BSN preferred. RNs hired after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

*One year Critical Care experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program, or acceptance into a THR residency program
.
* 2 years nursing experience, with Neuro/procedural experience preferred.

REQUIRED LICENSURE

*Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing

*Current AHA BLS and ACLS

REQUIRED SKILLS

*A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast paced environment.

*RN will circulate in an OR setting for Neuro interventional cases and in the IR setting as well. Must be knowledgeable about circulating procedures.

REQUIRED HOURS:

*Full time Days, Mon-Friday; Will be crossed trained for Cath Lab

*On Call Shifts required *
