MTS is a rapidly growing company and we are seeking highly motivated, talented candidates to join our staff!

The Scheduling Analyst will support NASA under the MIPSS Contract. This position will provide program, planning, and control services and support to the MSFC International Space Station (ISS) Office in support of the Environmental Control Life Support Systems, Materials and Biophysics Research and Payloads Facilities Research and Integration, as well as future projects.  Support shall include program planning and integration as well as schedule development and maintenance.

Job Description:

  • Develops, maintains, and coordinates technical schedules for large to medium scale projects from proposal level to detailed level schedules.
  • Conducts schedule analysis and assessments to ensure schedules are structured properly with complete network logic, are capable of reporting critical path(s), and follow industry scheduling best practices.
  • Tracks schedule progress and develops custom reports for the customers.
  • Provides guidance and recommendations on schedule work-arounds and recovery plans for customers to make effective decisions.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • B.S. degree from an accredited institution and 7 years minimum of scheduling experience; prior aerospace or government project experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office products; experience with Milestone Professional and/or OnePager Pro desirable.
  • Hands-on experience developing detailed schedules, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and performing critical path analysis.
  • Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, have strong interpersonal skills, and work under minimal supervision.
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of an organization.
  • Must be a U.S Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.

 

Essential Functions:

•Work Environment- Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

•Physical Requirements- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs (5% of time).

•Equipment and Machines- Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

•Attendance- Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.

•Other Essential Functions- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
