Job Description:

Position Overview

The focus of this position is to provide financial forecasting, planning and analysis support for the Johnson Fitness & Wellness retail stores, and JHT Trading, Inc. channels Specialty, Retail Parts Sales, IPO and Wellness. This is a non-supervisory position.

Responsibilities

Budgeting, planning and forecasting:

Develops the annual budget and operating plan

Maintains quarterly P&L forecast

Maintains rolling 12-month forecast

Maintains quarterly cash flow forecast

Reporting:

Develops and issues monthly financial and operational reporting packages

Provides analysis and investigation of monthly results

Maintain other financial reports as needed

Analysis:

Conducts business analysis to identify financial and business trends

Develops and implements recommendations to improve business and financial performance

Active team member on multiple business improvement projects

Develop procedures to improve financial practices

Provide on-going support for business financial analysis needs

Facilitate business and financial improvement within organization

Accounting:

Reviews and implements new financial policies

Supports month end close process as necessary

Maintains commission reporting

Facilitates financial improvement processes

Reconciliation and maintenance of assigned general ledger accounts

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum 4-year degree in Accounting

Additional education, such as MBA or CPA, a plus

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of prior financial analysis or related experience

Experience with SAP is preferred

Experience with Adaptive Insights desired

Other Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including PowerPivot, pivot tables, Vlookup, VBA, Macros, etc.)

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, able to clearly communicate financial information in easy to understand manner at multiple levels and functions within the business

Strong system skills experience with SAP (FI, MM & SD modules), BW, Adaptive Insights

Firm analytical skills to understand business drivers that link operational performance to financial results

Strong business acumen

Clear problem solving and investigative skills, developing variance explanations and root causes

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

Strong understanding of financial and management accounting

Skills

SAP, BW, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Adaptive Insights, Iridium or other POS system

Communication:

Develop relationships throughout organization

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Clearly communicate analysis

Confidence in presenting ideas and recommendations

Organization:
