Job Description:

$1,000.00 signing bonus!

Provide value-added service of straightening to our customer’s parts.

Ideal candidates will be detail oriented individuals with a mindset of process improvement and who are looking for stability with a long service employer.

After heat treatment, parts require straightening by using a press to ensure straightness.

This may be in a cold or hot form dependent upon the customer requirement. Each straightener is responsible to ensure the customer requirement is achieved and that the paperwork and certification is endorsed appropriately.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Other Qualifications

Applicant must be in good physical condition and able to push and pull heavy carts, pick up or carry heavy objects.
