Job Description:

**This is a 90-day contract-to-hire opportunity**

Mira Safety has immediate openings for warehouse workers in our West Austin location.

– Compensation: 17 – $18 per hour per hour depending on experience and qualifications

– Employment type: full-time (40 hours per week; some overtime) or Part Time

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

– Picking and packing of customer orders

– Shipping & receiving

– Stocking of equipment and supplies

– Warehouse organization and upkeep

– Inventory and tracking of supplies on-hand

– Ensure that work environment is maintained clean, safe and organized

– Scan and confirm accuracy of products to be shipped

– Ship through common carriers

– Stock products and make boxes

– Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or GED preferred (18+required)

– English language speaking and writing proficiency

– Previous military experience preferred

– Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude

– Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

– Ability to multitask and prioritize

– Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment

– Strong focus on safety

– Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policy

– Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time

– Bending, stooping, and must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

– Basic math, reading and writing skills.

– Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving experience is preferred.

– The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast paced environment with frequently shifting priorities.

– Applicant must possess a valid Texas driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
