This role serves as a versatile contributor in our warehouse operations, with the primary goal of progressing to a Container Loader position in a relatively short time frame. The duties may vary, but the core responsibility involves aiding in loading, organizing, and storing various parts or units on the premises. Efficiently loading containers for transportation, ensuring proper fastening, photographing the process, and ensuring the clearance of any unauthorized items not intended for transport are key aspects of this role. A sense of urgency is vital, as meeting transport deadlines is crucial, making a fast-paced environment the norm.

Key Responsibilities:

– Prepare items, such as cars or other cargo, for loading.

– Ready containers for loading cars or other cargo.

– Thoroughly inspect vehicles and other cargo before loading, removing any unauthorized items.

– Document the condition of cargo through photography.

– Securely load and fasten cars or other cargo inside the container for safe transportation.

– Capture images of loaded and secured cargo.

– Maintain cleanliness by clearing debris or spills from the work area.

Physical Demands:

The role requires physical agility and the ability to meet the following demands:

– Regular standing, walking, and use of hands for handling items.

– Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing.

– Lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

– Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the capability to adjust focus. Ability to fit into confined spaces is necessary.

Work Environment:

Expect exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions in the work environment. The noise level can be loud.
